Hey all. Just recently purchased a 1970 442 vert in need of restoration. Was buying it to resell but might sell a camaro I have and restore this one. It has a 455 but the prior owner thought it was not original. so have lots a questions for all of you olds guys. will be talking soon.

Those pre-resto pictures are gold, take lots of them and hang on to them. The car will look fantastic with the white interior and top. Was the original color red?

Body looks pretty solid.

It hurts my head when the number spacing is off like that. That fender has been replaced at some point in the past. I'd bet that it came off of a Cutlass due to the bad spacing.
Also look for ribs on the top of the fender. That would indicate a 71/72 replacement fender.
