Need advice on jack points and tire size on my 1980 Cutlass calais
Hi everyone,
Super new to the Oldsmobile world and looking to put on some new wheels. I don't know where the points are to Jack the car up, can anyone offer some advice or an image/video for some guidance?
Also the tires/wheels are usually 195/75/r14 and these new wheels are 205/75/r14. Am I going to be scraping the wheel well if I use this tire size? The wheels I'm getting are 100 spoke deep dish wire wheels.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome to the site. What kind of jack are you using? With a floor you can jack the car up under the front cross member and place jack stand to the rear of the tire under the frame. You can jack the rear end up using the center of the differential and place the jack stands under the differential tubes or the frame just forward of the rear tires,

Hi Oldcutlass,
Just using the jack from my car or a friend will have a jack available but not fully sure. Just wanted to make sure I know where the safe spots are. I don't want to mess things up lol. Thanks for the advice! Do you have any thoughts on the tire size?
