Very nice. I like the red interior. Was the dash pads black? I have a 1967 original black interior I'm thinking of converting to red but keep the black pad also.

Black dash and red interior is one of the few combos that look great together in my opinion. Go for it!

It has a maroon dash. I just bought a sidewinder tach for it. I’m going to have the carbs restored and I need to get the correct alternator. Gonna be fun

That’s the one, bounce the photo off of the 2017 Zone Show pics... Same background. Absolutely beautiful car, my favorite at last years show. Super nice car, humble/ knowledgeable owner.

That's a very tidy engine bay! Love it.

Edit: Just noticed the sweet rims and tires!

Thanks everybody! I’ve been working on the car fixing a few things. The car was restored in 1990 so the paint needs a little attention, burnt out headlight, horn won’t honk. I narrowed that to the upper column probably the horn wiper. Turn signal switch operates really hard but works and cancels so when I take the wheel off I can fix both. I’m very happy with the car, it is nicely done and presentable as is but I’m going to try to take it up a notch. I put correct belts on it and any fasteners that aren’t correct I’m going to change and any that need plating will get it. This winter, dash comes out for a fresh Ron Roth cluster, dash pad and an NOS sidewinder tach. I’m also going to pull the engine for a freshening and W30 cam. Also a new clutch. I actually like working on this stuff so I’m looking forward to it. I’m helping a friend finish the restoration of a 66 L79 Chevy II. This is going to be a real nice car so I’m pretty busy for a 67 year old guy!

Start a major projects thread so others can follow along. You know these type of projects tend to blossom.
