newbie here, just picked this up, hoping someone can help I want to go wide as possible up front, looking for a low level stance stock car oval track look,with wheels tucked nicely inside wheel well. The rear is tubbed and currently has a 31x16.5 tire on a 15x12"rim with a 5.5 backspace. I'd like the rear tires to fill the wheel well even more, I have at least 2"inside and outside to work with. I'm thinking 15x14 rim with diameter around 28". Hope the pic attaches
Sorry not so fun71, I left out back wheels, it's been frustrating trying to figure this all out, I'm not very savvy with computers , thanks for the welcome oldcutlass, up front are 165-80-15
I wasn't sure exactly what you were asking before.
I also have 245-60-15s on factory SSIII wheels, and have not had issues with rubbing. There seems to be plenty of clearance all around. Back in the 80s a tire shop inadvertently put one 255-60-15 on the left font and it rubbed slightly during turns. You may be able to get away with 255s depending upon your suspension setup - mine was factory original back then, so maybe sagging a bit.
