These pumps are difficult to find as "new" unless you can get very lucky and find an N.O.S. somewhere.

"Rebuilt" or "re-manufactured" are available. A quality rebuild may be your easiest alternative.

There may be a difference between A/C cars and non-A/C cars. I don't have the original part number(s). Oldsmobile frequently used a larger bearing on the A/C equipped cars.

Due to your location, you may want to seek out a quality re-builder near to you.

Unfortunately, it appears that Cardone now only rebuilds your core, at least according to the RockAuto listing. I'm guessing the low demand and limited availability of rebuildable cores forces this decision.

The AC equipped cars had a larger bearing as Ozzie pointed out and they had 8 blades on the impeller instead of 6 for the non AC cars. It is interesting that Fusick has the rebuilt AC pumps for $209 plus an $85 core charge but they have the non AC pumps for $119 with no core charge. These pumps are will fit 49 through 62.

63-64 are years unto themselves due to redesigned aluminum timing cover. Original pumps are also aluminum. I've seen cast iron aftermarket pumps.

And the factory was decent enough to notch the crank pulley and balancer so you can access the bottom water pump bolt! Be warned you'll prob need 1/4" drive socket or a VERY thinwall 3/8" drive to get in there even with the notch properly aligned.
