Hey everyone, I'm a new member.

I've been lurking for a while and gotten great tips. I've done a few things so far replace the gas tank, replace sending unit (gas gauge still not working), just replace the turn signal assembly and a few others things here and there. Currently stripping the old paint and slowly priming it myself.

That's an awesome start. My 69 Cutlass S started out in pretty much the same condition.

Good luck with it.
Post more pictures when you can.
and most of all, welcome to the site.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It was my dads first car he bought it brand new. It sat for a couple years, I finally got it running, the plan so far is to get it painted and back to a reliable daily driver.

There's still lots to do, theres some rusted out spots around windshields where the vinyl top was. I'm not quite sure how to remedy that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Post questions and pictures in the appropriate forums, there is plenty of help from folks that have been there and done that.

Welcome to the group... It's nice to be able to own a vehicle that has been in the family from day one and carry on the Olds heritage... Good luck with the project...

Been a while since I updated but here's a few pictures from along the way. I continue to come across body work I had no idea about. There was a ton of bondo on the quarters and some questionable repair jobs.
