TH350 Possibly Damaged, Worth Saving?

I recently picked up an Oldsmobile 403 with two matching TH350s. I got the motor rebuilt but when I went to do the transmissions, the first one had to many snapped bolts to keep it. When I tore the other one apart, the aluminum half of the valve body that's part of the casting had several small chips taken out of it. It looks almost like a piece of metal was forced through the passages and nicked up the inside. All of the chips are along the passageways and not the top, so it still seals the plate and gaskets just fine, and none of them are thicker than a millimeter or two. Is the damage too bad to keep the tranny or would it still shift alright?
