Restoration info on a 1935 Olds Business Coupe

Hello, my name is Jeff and live in OKC and just got the go ahead from my mother in law to finish up the restoration on my father in laws 1935 Olds Business coupe that he began 12 years ago and then passed away unexpectadley before getting to finish the project, it has been sitting in their garage and she has finally decided to finish it for his memory as this was his project. Any help finding someone to restore this would great, most of body work is done, primed and sanded, need interior woood kit and upholstery, mechanically was up and running when he died, so basically paint inside and out, interior and tune up , she knows she i going to spend more than the car is worth but wants it finished for him, any help, thanks jeff hohne2@flash.net

Welcome to CO

Sounds like a nice start plus its a family thing. Post whatever questions you have and we will do the best we can to help you out.

Fusick's will have some of the parts you might be missing

It sounds like he's looking for someone to do the actual restoration, rather than looking for parts to do the job himself, although he might be doing the latter either way at some point.

Who knows of some restoration shops in or near Oklahoma City?

Welcome aboard,

If you can't find someone to take on the whole project you might try piecing it out, body shop for paint, upholstery shop for the interior, wood replacement may be a little difficult but I bet if you advertised in the correct places someone would step up for the job. I wish you the best of luck in your project 35's are a class ride and quite rare....Tedd
