Newbie from Chico, CA getting a 66 442

Back in 1966 I bought a new 66 442 Burgundy Mist, vinyl top, Black interior with 4 speed and bucket seats... Had to sell it in 1971. For the last 10 years I've been looking for a 66 442 Holiday coupe that I could bring back to
be the car I had. The car I'm getting (as soon as I can get the shipper pick it up in Tenn and get it to me) is correct except for color, bench seat, auto trans, shift on the column, and a 455 motor.
I found a donor car with the buckets, correct steering wheel and column and a 400 motor. That one is in Texas and I'm getting that one shipped also.
I've done a frame off on my '55 Chevy 210 2 dr sedan. LS1 engine out of a 04 corvette with 4L60E tranny.
I plan on doing a frame off on the Olds.. I have a rolling frame I had for a 66 Chevelle so I'll have a frame to put underneath the body while I'm getting that back to new or better.
I'll be looking for a flywheel, bellhousing, and clutch linkage for the conversion.. I have a muncie M20 from a 65 GTO that I was going to use in my '55 but opted for the 4L60E combo..

Welcome! I know how you feel. We had a '66 442 that I got to drive when I was in high school. It was autumn bronze with black bucket seats and a 4-speed. I found one like it last September and have really been enjoying it ever since. Good luck with yours!
