New Fella From St Louis 1972 convert.
Hello all I bought this from a fella in Georgia he is a member here redoing the whole car This had to be the worst body work looks like the primer shrunk in like 30 places all over hood, sides trunk, and fenders I started on it about a month ago at least there is hardy no rust but I was looking for the 71/72 hood louvers and can't find anyone who sells them Any help would be great I have a few pic of the car The first one is what it look like before I bought it

Welcome to Classic Olds. Go to fsplanet.com , they have a set for $72 and they look pretty good. See you are from St. Louis, my '55 was bought new there from Greibe Fisher OLDSMOBILE. Larry

re: Faux Hood Louvers. I looked at your hood pics and blew them up 400%. Your hood does not have the configuration needed to install louvers. You'll have to search out a new hood for that. The CS didn't come with hood louvers from the factory unless it was special ordered.
Notice also that since your car has AC, there are no rear cowl vents. The hood you are looking for came standard on the Cutlass S and looks like this:
And you can see right in the text of the Oldsmobile brochure that the louvers were color coded to the lower body color.
