I bought a 63 Starfire

ok, I'm new here with a 63 Starfire I bought a week ago. It's a pretty decent old car that was owned by a 76 year young man about 30 miles from here. (I'm in Lawrence, Kansas) It's got 70 some thousand miles on it and there is some documentation with the car that pretty much shows they are probably right. It's a nice driver quality car that I think will be a lot of fun to own. I'm 67 and I had forgotten how big these cars are, here's a picture of it at my friend Pats shop. It seems to have a starter or solenoid problem so will try and get that figured out this week.

Welcome, very nice car! You just have to love the detail on the interiors, real class. Hope you can get the starter issue resolved easily and start enjoying her.

Welcome to CO.
Beautiful car!

It's nice to see the mid-size
cars from back in the early 60's
back on the roads with some one to drive them.
Congrats.

Thanks for the nice welcome. It's kind of funny, wasn't looking for a Starfire (never even thought about one) but found this and couldn't walk past it. I think it's going to be a great car and a lot of fun at cruise nights, antique car shows and Sunday drives. ( Monday through Saturday driving too)

Welcome to CO! Would it be redundant to say beautiful car at this point?
