Here to learn

Just wanted to introduce myself and my project. I'm a pipefitter from the Chicago area and I have a 71 Cutlass Supreme. The car was being used in the late 90's early 2000's as a bracket racer. Right now I'm looking to get it back to a more of a street car than a racer. I have a 455 that I would like to drop in it and start the resto mod on it soon. Looking for a reputable mechanic to do the work in my area as soon as possible. Just have to find the right one. I hope to learn from this forum and also be able to contribute soon.

I wouldn't change much. Love the car. 455 it and enjoy the hell out of it. Awesome sleeper color combo. Add door panels and you are good. Looks pretty clean.
