Greetings from Alaska

Glad I found The ClassicOldsmobile forum. It is nice to have such a great tool at ones finger tips. So any how my project is a 70 cutlass for my wife which will be her driver.

Again Greeting from North Pole, Alaska

Welcome to CO. At first I thought your user name referred to a '49 Oldsmobile but when I read your introduction I realize it is referring to the state. Cool!

Is there really a town called North Pole? It must have a road to it if you've got an Oldsmobile there. Its hard for us in the lower 48 to comprehend how large Alaska is. And how few roads there are in all that expanse. I guess you could have used a helicopter to get your car there

Welcome to the forum. Nice car. I'm afraid to ask how many months you can drive it there before you put it away?

welcome aboard!

I spent 13 years in Anchorage... Moved down here about 20 years ago.

Sure miss the summers up there. Hell, living here in rainland, I miss the winters too. At least it was sunny during the 8 hours of daylight!

I gotta get back up there one of these days.

I booked a trip to Alaska for next summer.
I'm cruising from Vancouver to Whittier, then, going on our own to Denali for 3 days.
Can't wait.
