1 more newbie from canada
hello all, also new on this site, I have a 69 442, and I am the original owner, shows my age lol. car has been sitting for few years, hopingly will be on road in few weeks.

thanks for the warm welcome, I am in southern On. near Brantford On. my car was ordered Nov 1968 received March 1969 yes all 4 months,442 rag, 4 on the floor, power windows, am fm. stereo with the 8 track and g 70 tires, all for the sum of 4500.00 in those days was lot of money,average house was 20,000 hope nobody has fainted,the car hasn't been plated since 1992, just start up once in a while, finally hope to have on the road in few weeks, will need tires, way out of round,and a master cylinder,once its cleaned up I will take some pictures and post, again many thanks for the welcome.

I want to thank Sam for dropping by my house and share some information of the OLDS family a very knowledgeable person, and again many thanks to all for the welcome, hopingly by weekend the car should be washed and put on the road for a quick test and some power on the gas pedal, yeppers just a kid in a candy store, lol.

Sam thanks for posting. Guys the floor mats are just there temporary not meant to be part of car, as I had mentioned the car had been sitting for 8 years and not plated since 1994, thus it was a quick clean up, I will have to spend some serious time to really detail and find all the proper numbers to show the authenticity, and hope the original purchase invoice will be found somewhere in the car, again many Thanks to Sam, he really motivated me on this car, nice to see there are still good people around.

Hi Lou, another Ontario 1969 Glade Green/Black bucket interior 4 speed Oldsmobile guy here!

My Sports Coupe W-31 was picked up by the original (Al and Lynn Stager) owners March 27 1969 he paid $4504.24, maybe you saw this car back in the day? My car was bought at County Garage Ayr Ontario.......pretty close to you......what dealer did you buy your Olds at?

Hi Ryan, my car was $4500.00 and I picked it up in a small town called Brooklyn Ont.just north west of Whitby Ont. I went outside of Toronto, Dean Myers in those days wanted $5200.00 well worth the extra drive for those savings. Would be nice to meet, once I receive all the paper work from Vintage Services we can spend time discussing the different options.

Sammy, I don't recall the name it was a father son team with a small 2 bay shop, at the time I was told they sold the most GM vehicles in Ontario, hopingly the name of dealer will show up on the Vintage papers I am expecting from Oshawa, I will keep u guys informed of documentation when it arrives.

Hey Sam finally received paperwork from George Zapora very interesting package of documentation, this really shocked me, number of cars imported for sale in Canada was 364, those are the same model numbers, as I had mentioned to u Sat or Sunday will drop by for that coffee, let me know which day is better for u,again many thanks for directing me to George, see u on weekend.
