What to keep and what to get rid of?

I have a 4 dr 87 cutlass and i put in a 73 olds 350 engine in. Im also in Arizona and seeking advise on what to keep on the engine and what to get rid off like smog parts, vacuum lines, etc...

Welcome to the site. What to keep depends on whether your going to run it on 87 or 73 model year specs. I'm not familiar with Arizona emissions requirements.

I want to get close to 73 specs to have a clean look with out all the vacuum lines.

First, I assume you are emmissions exempt or all bets are off. Everything the factory used had a purpose, so decide what options/funstionality on the 87 you want to keep compared to cleaning out the engine bay. AC takes up a bunch of under hood space but is pretty important in AZ for example

EGR (if still there after the swap) could go. Bare minimum for the '73 would probably be PCV (and opposite side vent), vac for distributor advance, vac for brake booster and vac for transmission. Since you are in AZ, could use an electric choke and eliminate all warm up stuff.

Keep the sensors from the 307 for oil pressure and water temp so your stock gauges work.
