SBO 350 Refresh

Well, figured I would post pics before I get the motor completely installed. I forgot to take pics while it was on the engine stand. But, it is what it is. I hope it runs as good as it looks (IMHO) .

Here are a few before pics:

And a few more after pics:

The base motor color is Seymour EN66. It is called AMC Blue Poly. I was fooled by an internet picture due to the lighting. In the pic it looked like a dead ringer for 455 blue metallic. But it has a more aqua/green tint to it. It is growing on me.

Valve covers, intake, basically anything gray is Engine Enamel DupliColor Cast Aluminum. I baked both the covers and intake in an oven to help cure the paint. I like how they turned out.

The A/C Compressor and alternator I painted with wheel paint (some metallic silver that is supposed to resist chemicals and etch to the metal. Time will tell if it will last.

Painted the master cylinder DupliColor Cast Iron Engine Enamel and installed a new booster ($20 bucks on ebay-due to scratches, but good enough for the girls I date)

Still have a ways to go, and I would like to thank all those on the forum that have guided me and answered a thousand questions I had and will continue to have.

Thanks again

Thanks, still need to figure out how I am going to do the OAI and a few other things. Hope to get the carb together and mounted by the weekend and try to fire it up.

I will post new pictures and engine specs when all is said and done.

Let me get my notes together and I will post the specs soon. Basically, stock 350 bottom end and the cylinder heads were just rebuilt. I will post more specifics later.
