1970 Cutlass convertible 1 piece trunk floor pan
Hello all.
I am looking for a complete 1 piece trunk floor pan for my 1970 cutlass convertible. It doesn't look like they sell one specifically for the cutlass. The closest one that I found is for a 1970 Chevelle (Goodmark GMK403372570S or AMD 800-3470). Does anyone have any suggestions on which one to buy? Also, does the front of the trunk pan go under or on top of the end of the floor pan. Mine is to far gone to make anything out. I am talking speaking specifically of the point where the two meet under the back seat. Thank you

Kev:
After reading tons of car forums on the web, I chose an AMD full floorpan for my convertible project and was very happy with the fit. If AMD makes a full trunk floor, I would expect it to be of good quality based on my experience.
FYI, I think you need to have the body off the frame to do a one-piece trunk floor replacement. The 3-piece trunk floor can be done on the frame.

Hello Rodney.
I already have the AMD complete floor pan so I am glad to hear yours worked out good. I cannot find anyone who makes a full trunk floor pan for a Cutlass. My understanding is that you have to make one from another A-body work by modifying it. The Parts Place does list one specifically for a 70 cutlass but it looks different from mine. I am trying to find out if anyone makes a 1 piece trunk pan for a cutlass and if not, which car has one that is the closest fit. Thanks for the help
By the way, I have been following your project and the pictures you posted helped me through a lot of my restoration. Thank you

Scrappie,
Thanks again for the picture. There is enough in that picture for me to make a decision. I talked to a few companies and read many posts and it looks like nobody makes an exact fit for a 1970 Cutlass 1 piece full trunk pan. The closest thing that I can find is the 1970 Chevelle but the tail piece at the rear of the trunk will have to be modified. I looked at pictures from the Chevelle, GTO, Skylark, Tempest, and Lemans. They all look close and may even work but the Chevelle seems to match almost exactly. I hope this helps anyone who may have the same problem in the future and thanks to those who responded.

I'm not an expert, but I bought the full width trunk floor for my car from the parts place. It did NOT cover the full width of the trunk. It was short of the drop offs by 2-3 inches on both sides.
