Lack of Horsepower in 350 Rocket

So I've been building my car for the past 10 years and recently got to the point of driving it. The car has: a Performer RPM Intake 7111 and the Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam 262/268. Currently the car has number 8 heads that have been worked and the stall being ran is 2400. I recently installed my 3.42 geared positive traction rear end. I'm barely able to get the tires to squeal when I floor it. I've checked my timing and it's spot on. What other things should I begin to trouble shoot?

Overall, I'm just trying to narrow some things down before I throw the towel in and send it to a shop...thank you guys...

I looked up the cam specs and got the following. Not extremely different than the cam in my 350 engine.
Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 262/268
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 219/227
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .499/.510
LSA/ICL: 112/108

Some things we'll need in order to help you troubleshoot:
  1. Was the camshaft degreed when it was installed?
  2. What type of pistons do you have - flat top or dished?
  3. If dished, what is the dish volume?
  4. What type of distributor do you have?
  5. What are the initial timing and total timing settings?
  6. What size rear tires does your car have?

Two things I would check on, first is do a compression test on each cylinder and the second is go over the fuel delivery system. Make sure the filter in your sending unit isn't clogged, fuel filters in-line aren't clogged, the fuel pump is operating properly, your carb is jetted properly, the float is seated properly and the accelerator pump is working (I am assuming you have a four-barrel carb rather than some multi-carb set up). If all of your cylinders are firing it sounds like it could be a fuel delivery issue. Good luck
