1970 Cutless

Looking at this 1970 Cutless,
haven't seen in the flesh yet, car is in Australia about 1200 miles from me,
looks OK in pics, is a good price. Curious about the Mexican type rego plate,
would appreciate any info on that,

regards, Cus

It looks like the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

I've never seen a right hand drive Oldsmobile...in the modern era.
I've never seen a Mexican vehicle tag either.
I can see at least the 34267 which does mean its an oldsmobile 72 cutlass convertibile to us US folks in GM speak. Seeing the numbers elsewhere, the use of Z (twice)might implicate it was built at Fremont California assembly plant?

This is only an observation and not to be construed as factual.

You got the year wrong. The stamping showing Modelo 1970 says what year it is.
Also, the VIN is 30Z141677.
3 = Oldsmobile Division
0 = year of manufacture (1970)
Z = assembly plant (Fremont, California)
141677 = sequence number

Thanks for the replies, yes, its partially converted to RHD, my Delta 88 is also RHD,
car is in Australia.
I'm a bit jittery about it may have had a Mexican Make Over. Why would it have a tag
with the Spanish text etc.?

Do you think it's been re-birthed? Why would it have the Spanish plate?
