I've bought another '63 Cutlass

A friend of mine owned it, and contacted me yesterday morning letting me know he was ready to sell her. I’ll pick her up this weekend and will post better pictures afterwards.

She has a couple cool options. She is a Deluxe and has has the automatic floor shifter. And you can see in the picture the driver side mirror is a remote. I have yet to ever see her in person, so I don’t know what extra goodies she has. She runs and drives, however the floors are completely rotted out and will need to be totally replaced. Which I am more than happy to do being that she’s an all black car and don’t see that too often.

More to come!

Do you have some good floors you can use? I am glad to see another 63 model alive and well.

Dang, I wish. I had a parts car five years ago that had good floors in it, but I didn't have any place to store it and had to get rid of it. I do not have extra floors to use. A friend yesterday told me that he knew of a reproduction company that he believed would have correct floors to sell me. He had to get back to me with the name of company, so who knows.

Would you know of such a place? As far as I know, no one makes anything for the 1st gen.

I don't know of anyone making them. I am trying to track down a 63 Buick 4 door that was a 20,000 mile car. It is in Illinois someplace. It was partly parted out and to far parted to be worth restoring the list I seen it. If I can locate it, it had great floors in it. I am wanting the 15 inch wheels and drive shaft parts out of it. I will let you know if I locate the car.

Did all Buick skylarks come with 15 inch wheels? I just got off the phone with a wrecking yard locally that has a four door 61 Skylark. He said he's going to call me back on Thursday to let me know if the floors are any good, being that they're only open on the weekends. I'll ask him what size the wheels are for you.

I may be interested but shipping will kill me. I was hoping to find this Buick and try parting what is left of it out and have the wheels and some other parts left over. I knew you had them and have had it in the back of my mind for a while. What tires are on them?

Toyo 195/60, still have the stickers on them. If you have a fastenal store near you shipping won't be to bad. I got a quote to ship them to the guy that bought my wagon for $175 but he hasn't gone through with it.

I still have to sort through the parts and seperate the parts that go to my 62 from the hoard of spare parts. Once I do that I'd like to sell it all as a package deal of parts.
