I have noticed this W45 on J&S Facebook page, is it upgraded to W31?

Great restoration!!!

Have not been on the site in a while. My Rallye 350 is still not "done" but is now drivable and yes the 350 was rebuilt by J&S, it is not a real W31 but does have the aluminum intake, larger valves, along with lots of other improved internal hardware. Still needs wheel liners, carpet, headliner, and seats recovered, hope to have this done by end of year. Been a long project but is now paying off!

Yes; frame, rad support, top plate all suspension parts, rear axle housing, bumper brackets, air cleaner housing, battery tray, rad fan, etc was powder coated. Cost was reasonable and it's durable. There is a local shop, makes it very convenient.

Wipers polished up, linkage bead blasted and painted, reinstalled and adjusted multiple times, works pretty good, all original parts except rubber refills.

Awesome looking car. That colour is my favourite whats presented on Oldsmobiles.

One question; how do you dare to drive this anymore?

Some recent pics, just got back from interior shop for headliner install. Starting floor insulation, carpet this weekend and seat backs refinished waiting on Legendary to ship seat covers later this month. Getting cold here in Indiana, good time to just keep it in the garage.

Really, really nicely done. Excellent work and your shop is just as nice. Did you do all of the wood work for benches etc. also? Nice job and thanks for the pictures.

My step Dad made the plans for the benches and I helped assemble these, they are heavy duty but simple and inexpensive to make.

Had no idea how difficult installing new carpet can be, not perfect but pretty happy with the results.

Thanks

Its just very tedious making sure all of the cuts are in the right place especially working under the dash, along the kick panels and sill plates. Used small weights to sit around to "re-shape" the carpet. Its seems of good quality, purchased from Legendary. Be prepared to replace cutting blades frequently, used an old soldering iron on the holes for front seat belts and high beam switch. Was a huge help having the seat tracks off of the seats, made cutting the slots so much easier. I know alot of guys simply put holes in the carpet for the seat mounting bolts but that is not factory and leaves an unfinished look.
Thanks

What vendor did you use for the engine gold paint? You're doing an incredible job with the restoration. Kudos.

Thanks, its been a long process but has been rewarding for me. The engine paint is from Supercars Unlimited.
