With some awesome help from my assistant (wife) I was able to get the engine and trans back in "Ole Blue" last night. (-: At this rate, I hope to send her to paint by the end of June.

My wife is a trooper for sure. The paint is the Parts Place Olds Engine Bronze. I've had other brands before but the color was off (more of a tan-ish than bronze). I got the original intake manifold out of storage and had it acid dipped which revealed some of the original paint. It's an exact match for the Parts Place bronze. (-:

Super clean. keep the photos coming. My wife and daughter get stuck helping me out now and then. At least the wife works on her own hot rod.

Almost done restoring the a/c box.

Got the new starter installed. I found it better to remove the exhaust manifold to prevent scratching up everyrhing.
