Overhaul Update . . .
Just returned from 5,000 mile power tour of one from Alabama to Wyoming and back.
The good: she ran smooth as Dr. Olds intended.
The bad: antelope ran into the front stone guard and grills (dumb animals).
The ugly: not a thing - maybe the toll roads in Oklahoma (and 8 mpg throughout the haul).
It was an awe inspiring experience and highly recommend to all of those that feel the need to wonder this great land of ours, to get into that car and head west.
Did have to climb into the trunk and replenish the power top hydraulics with a turkey baster - also had to have the rear-brake lines replaced - both rear lines bottomed out on a dirt road and pinched on the frame.
Back in Bama for repairs and a pitstop and then ..... South to the Gulf? Safe Travels...
