Your project is coming along nicely. Car body looks like it has some serious rust issues. They are getting fixed at the bodyshop? The pics in permalink 2 show it was a bucket seat (A51) car. But the console shifter there is completely wrong for Olds.
Nice to see your lil bro helping out with the build. That's a 455, so why Olds gold instead of factory blue? The PS pump is supposed to be black btw.
So what kind of plans do you have for the car? Have you researched the VIN and cowl tag info on it?

yea the car had some rust but thankfully nothing too bad its being repaired right now at the body shop, and as far as the color we just liked it a little bit better than the blue.
our plans with it aren't too crazy we like the muscle car look (it will not be a "DONK" or anything near it!) so we will just be restoring it and adding some personal touches here and there, it will most likely get a carbon gray or silver paint job with black leather interior
as far as research i havent done much on i just decoded the vin number but thats about it

thanks for the compliments also guys, i couldn't ask for a better helper than the little bro although he might not know much he is always enthusiastic about working on the car and not afraid of getting dirty

How cool that you're including your lil bro Get him interested in cars early & he'll be less likely to get involved with gangs/drugs/etc. I'm grateful that my dad let me tinker in his garage & watch him paint old cars. He was not an expert by any means but to my four-year-old eyes he was.
BTW, that's a very nice shade of green: if that's the original color I'd stick with that...but I realize what looks good to me may not look good to you. Thanks for not DONKing it.

thanks for all the feedback guys
to junqueboy, getting my little bro into cars was a great idea i did it to get him interested in cars and keep him out of gangs/, drugs, and trouble in general. his interest in cars is growing like crazy he's already talking about getting a job so he can save up for a car of his own to work on
