Nice looking car - 71?
How long did it take? Any pics of the process?

Congrats!
I "finished" my 65 last year so I know the feeling, but I can't seem to stop tinkering and improving. Probably will never be actually done.
Looks great-nice car, enjoy it!

Hi Allen,

I started this project about two years ago and worked on her off and on weekends when I had time. I completed all the mechanical issues first then tackled the body work, interior and then finally the body and paint. It really feels nice to be out driving her. I live in the Black Hills, so there are plenty of scenic drives.

A little over 2 years for me also. I did a frame off-every nut and bolt.the frame was so stripped i carried in and out of the garage with my wife as i blasted it.
You really get to know exactly what you have when you do the work yourself.
I had a great fortune cookie during the build.
It said" Get your mind set. Confidence will lead you on"
Believe it or not, that and a friend who kept telling me i could it encouraged me to tackle the bodywork myself and although not perfect- it is a lot better than the original fit and finish!
These Cars were
a little rough from the factory.

Hi Mike,
Encouragement always helps. I've seen many projects over the years that weren't completed by guys who quit after the initial excitement wore off. I have always been fortunate that my wife has supported my hobby.

Hi Sammy,

The color is considered Jade Green and the carpet is called moss green. Seat covers are from PUI and the carpet is from ACC. They were both perfect matches to the originals.
