65 cutlass dash teardown

Ok - I'm no dummy but how the heck do you get the radio detached from the dash face? A couple of other bezels are giving me grief as well.
Any ideas?

Cool Stamps, but I'm betting these aren't the pictures you intended to post

Justin... I believe you have to insert the key and rotate it while pushing a paperclip (or something similar) through a hole in the lock. I've never done this, but destroyed the switch and instrument panel on a 1966 Toronado once... then was told I needed to use the key/paperclip method. If this doesn't work or doesn't make sense then create a new thread and one of the 1965 guru's will see it. John

Turn the key all the way left, insert paper clip about 1/8 inch and turn more left, wiggle the tumbler out, now unscrew bezel, nice stamps, good thing you wernt somewhere else

Hey Stan,

Yeah, once I got past my usual impatience I did see the set screws. Thanks for the tip.

I have had a look at those sites which are awesome. Lots of info. I tried to sign on to the forum but not only was I refused membership, they banned me! I don't think the 'Bro' likes me very much. I made a quip a few months back about how often his posts feel rather condescending and I guess that's it for me! The guy has forgotten more than I'll ever know about '64 - '65s and is a phenominal resource however it looks like I blew up that bridge.

Anyway, life is good - I think I found buyers for my Royal Mist coupe and my VC. I can soon get started on my flat top.
