Dome light screw location/orientation help

So I got a head of myself doing my headliner install and I didn’t mark where the dome light screws went.
Im trying to feel around for a recess/screw hole...last thing I want to do is put a hole where I don’t need one in my nice new headliner.

Can someone guide me as to the orientation of the screws, do they go North/South or East/West...also in my second image, how far to the seam is the screw hole, I’m placing my finger on what feels like one but it could also be the headliner rod clip...?!?!?

Thank you

OK, here's some pictures of a dome light in a 1970 F85. So the screws are forward and back. It also looks like they may be lined up with the center of the rear view mirror up by the windshield. I'm not sure I'd count on the seam of the headliner. Different brands of reproductions may be different.

You might try something sharp but small, sort of like an ice pick if you have anything like that in your tool box. Then you could press and hopefully go into the screw hole. Let us know if you get it or need more help. John

Brian, I forgot that I have a 1972 roof without the headliner. These photos might be more help. I don't know why there's so many holes in the support, but the two for the dome light are lined up exactly with the center screw on the rear view mirror.
