1966 Cutlass Steering Wheel Question

I have a 66 Cutlass HE and I am not sure which steering wheel I have, but it is not the tilt steering one. I guess sometime back in the 80s, the horn wasn't working and the steering wheel was taken apart. I have the center cap, which comes apart into three pieces, and you can see the hole in the steering wheel. The cap I have fits in the center, but I must be missing an adapter bracket or something like that. I've looked at the CSM, but don't really see a picture of what I am missing

Anyone help with what piece am I missing, and what's the best way to obtain that piece?

Also, am I right that since I have the two buttons for the horn out on the arms of the steering wheel, then the center cap is not a horn button?

Thanks,

you are missing the piece that latches on to the steering wheel,it has two tabs on it.you will probably have more luck finding a complete unit than just the piece you are missing.65 and 66 are the same and the center cap doesn't activate the horn

Thanks! Not sure how I missed that one in my searches, but the bracket is pretty clear in the pics in that listing. I'll see what parts are best between that one and mine.

I'm pretty sure I have some nice center caps for the deluxe wheel. Contact me @ pchopesq@aol.com

Thanks

Mike
