1) Remove seatbelt assembly

3) With a small screw driver gently place next to one of the 3 pin clips on the cover. Gentle lift up it will pop out.
4) Repeat with the other two pins and then gentle lift up to a point that the coil spring releases.
5) Roll the belt out and reposition the assembly in the vice.
6) with a flat head screw driver gently tap the retainer that that holds the belt to the pin
7) reposition the assembly again with the plastic cap side facing up. the pin will have a slot for the spring
8) with a small hammer and punch - tap the pin out of the assembly and remove the seat belt and plastic center.
9) with the plastic center removed place the seat belt through the seat belt retractor hole in the cover.
10 ) reinstall the plastic center and the main pin
11) with a plastic or wood dowel tap the retainer in place that holds the belt to the plastic pin guide inside the belt. be sure the ridged part of the plastic center is facing you as you replace the retainer. the retainer goes over the top of these ridges.
12) replace the plastic cover with the coil spring. the plastic cap only fits one way as the pins are offset.
13) with the spring attached to the center pin rotate the cap counter clockwise until you have the tension on the spring that will bring the belt back to the retracted position. line up the holes correctly and gentle push the pins in place.
