Console Removal 1970 442 TH400 Stock Shifter
How do you remove the console from a '70 442? I have removed the screws on the side of the console at the front. I have removed the console compartment floor and the screws under it. I have removed the screws that hold the upper and lower sections of the console together. The console is still not loose to remove. It appears to be fastened in the area of the shifter. Help!
