I am needing a trunk mat for a 1973 Cutlass S. Also could someone post pics of their's. I can't remember what they looked like. I thought my first 73 had a thin rubber type of mat. I think it was a multi colored one. Also are they available as an aftermarket parts? Thanks

I got mine from the parts place.
As you said it is a very thin rubber type.
It fits very well

Joe, I looked at The Parts place and her is what it listed: 1973 - 1977 Cutlass/442) TRUNK MAT - FELT GREEN GRAY. I am concerned about it saying felt. I am thinking that is not rubber like I remember. Was that the one you purchased? And want to thank you for helping me out with this stuff.

Terry, the reproduction is closest you're gonna find. No it's not exact but fits/works perfectly. They are not black rubber like you are thinking unless it's the accessory rubber trunk mat. '73s are diff in that they don't hv the relief cuts, it's only cutout is around the trunk latch. But they hv rubber backing on a grayish/grn felt.
