Has anyone ever seen this interior cloth on a base 1978 Delta 88? I first saw this car when an elderly neighbor bought it from his brother in the mid-90's. It had this interior in it at that time - so it would have been approximately 15 years old, with about 50,000 miles on the clock. I bought the car several years after that when the owner went into a nursing home. I go back and forth between (1) this interior is too ugly to be original to an Oldsmobile, and (2) on the other hand, if it was reupholstered I doubt that anyone (the original owner) would have gone to the trouble to have the pattern stitched it in, put the buttons on it, etc after picking such an ugly material! I was a teen-ager when these cars were new. They were everywhere, but I've never seen this interior in another one. Sorry for the rotated pictures.
