1970 Bench Seat spring repair
The drivers side seat is literally killing my back - I don't even want to drive the car for more than 10 minutes. It feels as thought the springs are fatigued and I sink down into the bench. I know this isn't normal as the pass. side seat is pretty tight and rides much higher.
Does anyone know a fix for this? Is it just spring fatigue and I'm SOL? or is it something I can fix or have an upholstery shop fix. I'm a little but familiar with doing upholstery work but not the s-wound springs like the '70 has. I don't see many new springs for bench seats...
Thanks for the input!
