Seat Spring

Hey guys,

Have a spring issue on my buck seat out of my 76 442.

It is on the bottom of the bucket, at the rear, connects the rear frame to the coil spring set up under the foam. After 40 years it snapped.

Is this something a local auto store would have? I am going to ask an upholstery shop this week if I can find time to stop. No luck on googling it...

Picture is the bottom side, point to the frame/cushion location.

You would probably have better luck looking for that spring at a hardware or industrial supply store. Bring it in and match it to something as close as they have.
