First little issue I'm gonna tackle

Ok so I posted some info about my new to me Cutlass in Newbie section, and I want to tackle an issue already (since I can't drive it till I register it, I wanna fix something cause I can be in it!).

The radio in it was installed by someone else, and they didn't install it right as it's not mounted to the dash. Kind of annoying as the front cover for the radio and heater controls isn't mounted either. I'll add a pic in a bit, need to get back down there and take one after supper.

I'm mainly looking for a service manual or a guide somewhere on how to take apart the dash so I can get in there and get some minor stuff done

Any suggestions on where to look? I tried googling, and for now since all I can find I have to buy I'm just waiting till payday for those, but if in the meantime if someone with more knowledge is willing to impart his wisdom unto me that would be great

No, my bad. I should have remembered that you have that new 86 with the 3.6 V6. Had to go to your home page to remember that. Unfortunately the WAC site doesn't have that yet.

I just did a quick web search for the info you need and found the following manuals for your car: (I'd snap up the 1st one if I was you - its an original and it's cheap)

It's all good. Thanks for the links, already looked at them, and gonna try to budget for them lol. Gotta get the car legal first but manuals for them are nice and I will probably pick one up soon. I have access to a Chilton book as well, but I love official documentation

Thanks again and I'll bookmark these.
