Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum.

I'm putting a dual gate in a '68 cutlass. I would really appreciate any kind of measurements or pictures of the his/hers bracket location and cable hole.

You going with a 68 H/O set up or what I dont beleive the 68 had the dual gate like the pontiac.

Well...I can give you my measurements where I installed my DualGate...it was really more of a guess where I put it. Where the feet fit and where it looked right with the mini console on. Someone with a 68 HO or 69 could chime in with a simple measurement from say..instrument panel to gear shift **** in park for a good North/South dimension. Sorry to say the shifter seems to go through all its positions but I am so close at firing it up again and getting it on the road. Geez, I sound like a broken record.

Tom, did you use the same cable hole location used for the standard floor shifter? BTW, I located the shifter itself using your method. Now, I'm just trying to figure out how to run the cable through the floor pan

I think I used the spot for the factory console...Mine was a column shift so I started from scratch..EXCEPT looking for some pics here at work of the location of the hole for the cable..I found a pic someone on the forum sent (thank you again!) with some measurements for the shifter. Sorry, a bit lit on that i guess. Correct me Dual gate guys if I am wrong but it seems like the dual gate cable ends up almost "S" shaped. Same for regular console cable I assume?
