'69 H/O rims reproduced?

I've gone back to 2009 in a search on here and all the companies mentioned either no longer reproduce these or are no longer in business. Is ANYBODY reproducing these rims? We're just finishing up my friend's '69 and the chrome on his original wheels is getting pretty 'thin'. If nobody reproduces these is there anybody that restores these rims (i.e. remove the centers and rechrome the 'hoops', etc.)? TIA.

Specialty Wheel was producing them up until spring of 2012. I got one of the last sets & a buddy of mine got another set. I put mine on my 72 W-30 & he put his on his 71 442. Specialty Wheel moved production to CA & are no longer making this rim.

Anyone "restoring" these will likely remove the old hoops and weld on new chrome hoops. The old hoops get destroyed/rendered unuseable in the removal process.

You could contact Steve Caruso at Caruso Performance.....he does a lot of the Buick Rallye wheel rims for the Skylark/GS crowd. He has a good reputation.

Yes, give Kurt a call at 515-450-3446. I had him make several 15x8 wheels from 14" wheel centers. He has raw steel rim shells for painted wheels, used for my 15x8 SSI's, and chrome rim shells for applications like the 69 HO wheels and the 4 15x8 SSIII's I bought from him. He can supply the centers usually cheaper than you can send your core wheels to him. He actually made a mockup 69 HO wheel for a guy I know and met him at a swap meet to show him what they would look like and he was very impressed.
