Top frame installation

Hello, so the new frame is finally on its way. I also have a new pump, pistons and hoses. I'm pretty certain I will have a upholster do the actual top install but can I do the frame and motor install myself? Anyone have an install guide or link I can use? 71 cutlass.

Can anyone recommend a good top guy in the Denver Colorado area?

All the information you need to assemble, align, and adjust the top frame should be here, in the Fisher Body Manual.

The latest manual posted is for '70, but for the A-body, it should be exactly the same as '71.

Denver Area Upholstery Guy

I had a guy by the name of Dennis at Tumbleweed Upholstery. PM for his phone number....feel kinda weird about hanging his phone number out.(too late?) His shop is out in Franktown or Elizabeth now. He did my seats and door panels. I hope to have him do my top in the next month or so. He did interior and top on a friends 68 GTO and did a very nice job. Tell him I sent you!

Hey guys, thanks for the info. The guy I had down here can't get me in for another month. After he said he had time this week ehhh. I got a guide to doing it all myself but the more I read the more I'm like eff this. If anyone has the experience and wants to help me I grill a mean steak and always have cold beer and cash ;-)
