Any concrete evidence the W32 was built at all plants

Wondering if anyone know for sure if all 69 W32's were built at any plant like it says on 442.com or if they were Lansing only.

Thanks

Yes all W32's were assembled in Lansing.

Just for the record, if you're broadening out Wmachines to include R350s, then there are the 1970 W32s and W34s and they were not all made in Lansing.

But... but...

Keep in mind that the reason why the W-30 and W-31 cars were all built in Lansing is because of the hand-fitted parts in the engines. The 1969 W-32 was simply the production line 350 HP 442 engine with O.A.I. and an automatic trans. This engine was not hand-fitted and there was no reason to only build these cars in Lansing. Now, I don't have any proof that they WERE built elsewhere, just saying that the reason for Lansing-only build isn't there. I will speculate that since Lansing was the only plant to produce W-30s and W-31s, the O.A.I. hardware wouldn't have been available at the other plants, so that may be a reason for the 1969 W-32 to be Lansing-only, especially for under 300 cars built.
