71/72 lower rad hose

I'm having trouble finding the correct lower hose for my 71 Cutlass. I tried the one from Fusick and it is so long it hits the bolt on the idler arm. They tried to help by cutting the ends, but then it doesn't curve correctly to fit over the rad outlet.
Inline tube makes the correct size and shape for a 70, maybe it fits 69 as well, I don't know, but the 71 has smaller inlets/outlets than in 1970. They of course tell you it is for 69 -72, which just isn't correct.
All the aftermarket ones I could find are all too long as well. Parts Place has a "correct", 406382, which looks the same as Fusicks but it may be shorter, but you can't tell accurately by pictures. Now, on Ebay, they of course a more expensive NOS hose which is definitely a different shape, but they refer to it as part number 7866, top picture, which isn't a GM number, so I'm baffled. I don't trust The Parts Place and any of their claims, and we all know what their customer service is like. Note the difference in length and shape. How can both be right?
So I'm curious as to what people on this forum are using for 71 and 72 lower rad hoses on their Cutlasses.
Thanks

You do sometimes need to trim the end/s to fit.
