Fan shroud
Anyone in readerland have detailed pics of how the shroud is suppose to mount to the core support? Mine has never fit well. It’s kinda hard to tell from the factory manuals. I’d like to use the cold winter to get whatever is needed to make it fit correctly. Thanks!
i guess I forgot to mention it for my 69. I’m running a Be-Cool radiator with the top pate modified to fit the wider tanks

Matt, is this for your 1969? Does it have the 2 or 3 row radiator top plate or the 4 row one? Some cars came factory without a shroud, and for the 1968-72 years I know there was a different top plate. Then I know the 70-72 had tabs attached to the bottom of the core support that were not there on the non-shroud application. I'm sharing all this to say its possible someone changed what's there and you may not have the correct parts to get the fit you want. I'll try to come up with some photos for you. If you have time to post pictures of what you have, how the top plate looks and how the shroud is attached at the top and bottom that might also help members here spot any problems you may have. John

It’s for my 69. After looking over those illustrations, im wondering if it’s the correct shroud I made my own lower brackets, I have never been very happy with how things fit.
