Clutch fan part #
What is the proper number that is printed on a 1970 HD cooling fan clutch assembly?
I updated original post to include a pix. So this isn't correct?
403983-ow A10J
For some reason the photo I am trying to upload will only load to 90% ?

If I'm reading the Assembly Manual correctly it looks like:
401797 "OS" with 4939873 (also "OS") being "optional".
Those are the numbers shown for "A" and "B - C" cars with 35Y72. 35Y72 is the Heavy Duty Cooling option.

The Assembly Manual shows the "OW" application as follows:
403983- Fan clutch Asm (Code "OW")
4939984 - Fan clutch Asm (Code "OW")(Opt.)
("B-C' cars with 35C60, 35C61)
35C60 and 61 are air conditioning options
The list doesn't show the "OW" clutch being used on any Abody cars....but it would still work and probably function pretty well since the big cars with AC would probably need plenty of cooling as well.
