4 speed back-up light switch

Does anyone know if there was a cloth sheathing over the wiring for the reverse light wiring on the Muncie 4sp. CSM says wire is clipped to speedo cable.

No, there is no sheathing.

I think there is also a clip on either the bell housing bolt or the tranny side cover bolt on a '68.

Ok, thanks for your feedback. Does anyone know the correct length of the back-up switch wiring from the switch to the firewall plug? I should add this is a 65 442.
