Spring Start up of 64 88 dynamic
When I purchased my car three years ago, the first winter I started it up almost weekly. ( was an easy winter) Last year as with this year I have stored it and let it sleep without starting it for three months. Last year I used a spray of starter fluid and with @ 4 trys it started.
Questions I have is, are there any routines I should use to start it? Should I let it run for 5 min or 20 minutes? I have no plans on driving it (roads still have snow and salt).
any opinion is appreciated

If you're going to go through the effort of starting it, I would run it until it is fully warm. If you don't let the crankcase reach full operating temperature, moisture can accumulate in there and lead to all kinds of problems over time.
I think that running it for only 5 minutes would be worse than not running it at all.

You are better off letting it sleep all winter without starting it. Then start it just before you're ready to take it out in the spring to be certain all is well. It may take some cranking to fill the carb bowl, pump it to set choke and it should start on the 2nd or third crank.

Ok guys looks like I will hold off for another two weeks. Well I gues I will just do a bit of spot cleaning of the engine and take the anti-mouse junk out of the car. I appreciate the response
