removing paint from plastic gravel guards

Hi I'm new to the group. I'm restoring a 1977 Cutlass Salon. I want to strip the gravel guards down to the clear plastic for repainting. Any suggestions? Thank you Guy.

Hi and welcome to CO ! Are you talking about the plastic fender wells? Are you trying to remove undercoating or overspray, etc? I've used Eastwood's Under Gone with good results. It goes on like a spray foam and soaks into undercoating to soften it, you can then scrap it loose pretty easily. Check out the link below:
