non ac pulleys with driver side alternator mounts
Hello all,
Does anyone know if i can use the following setup with the alternator mounted on the driver’s side? I basically started with an AC equipped 68-71 350 engine. I have put on a 5.1” snout water pump and will probably need to sell my 3 groove crank pulley that i think is 7” in diameter and a KH stamped power steering pulley.
Here is the assembly manual setup i found from the forums:
1968 Assembly Manual:
Crankshaft: KB 399402 2g 6.4 x 2.2" 0.901
Water pump: KE 399401 7.10 x 2.0
Power steering: KG 399403 1g 5.72 x 1.42
Alternator pulley - 1100767 AG
5.1" water pump snout

Well, Olds never put the alternator on the driver's side without A/C. If this engine is going into a J88 (per your screen name) then why not just use the J88 brackets. The 64-67 brackets are different from the 68-up brackets anyway.

I don't have any of the original engine accessory brackets, they have been sold. I have the crankshaft pulley, a two groove KH stamped power steering pump PULLEY, and the 5.1" water pump. I will need to buy a water pump PULLEY. I have mounts for drivers side alternator mounts.
Will I need a different power steering pulley? Will I need a different crankshaft PULLEY?
