Welcome to the site, I moved your thread. Post a proper intro in the Newbie section when you get a chance. Unfortunately we need some additional info to point you in the right direction. Are the wheels, tires, and suspension stock. Did you perform any work prior to this issue?

That does look good, to the op if you didn't know those are 72 supreme grills painted black which makes them 72 HO grills, the 72 S had horizontal bars as opposed to the egg crate style, the headlight bezels are the same for 71-72 except 71 is all silver like yours and 72 is silver surround w blacked out middle.

It looks nice like that, at some point someone might mention that's not how it came originally, no surprise a lot of things get replaced or changed over 40 plus years.

What tire size do you have on the car? 1 tire rubbing and vague steering may just mean you need an alignment.

Thanks for the info, once I got to really dig into the car I found the tire rub was the offset of the rims and being in the incorrect position on the car. So with the steering I'm going to be going through the all of the suspension and should be able to figure it out. As for people saying it's not the was it came I'm cool with that.

I had the silver headlight bezels and turned them into the correct 72 versions and have a blacked out grill as well. I like the 72 correct bezels better imo. Easy to do . I just spray painted the entire bezel and used scotchbrite to go around the edges . I turned this IMG_0861.jpg to this IMG_0890.jpg

Thanks for the kind words. Very nice car Michael. The previous owner put 235-60-15s all around on mine. I really like the look and feel of those.
