Looking for specs

I tried Google and got many answers. Wondering if there is a site that has detailed specs on cars.

Looking at 77 Delta 88 sedan with 403. Getting weight specs from 3100-4100.

Hoping for a detailed breakdown.

Brilliant! Thanks! Looks so dang big, lighter than most newer "pony" cars.

Those are minimum class weight numbers figured on stripped down models. Take the same car with Air Conditioning, a full fuel tank and loaded up with accessories and it's probably around 4000 lbs. on the street.

This is a fundamental problem with new cars. A normally-equipped midsize car is nearly 4500 lbs today! Some if that is federally-mandated safety equipment (airbags, ABS, TPMS), a lot of it is convenience options (when was the last time you saw a newer car without PW, PSeats, fully automatic HVAC, backup camera, nav system, adaptive cruise control, etc), and the rest of it is the miles of copper necessary to make it all work.
