I'm lousy with electrical stuff and really hate it when things are intermittant. I'd start by checking the connections from the positive side of the battery to the horn relay. I believe that's where the smaller wire from the positive battery cable runs to. I had that get corroded once years ago and it prevent the car from starting. Back to the basics.... start with the easiest thing first and hope you find it quickly! John

Turn on the headlights and crank the starter. Do the headlights dim to nothing? If they do it could be your battery. Sometimes they just die even new ones. Check the ground connection at the battery and where it connects to the car and check the ground strap from the engine to the body. Look for corroded connections at these areas. I find most electrical problems to be ground issues. Also check the wiring harness where it connects to fuse block. good luck

Yes it could be the neutral safety switch, but unless you've recently worked on that it's not the first place I go to trouble shoot your problem. If you have and the switch is loose, try moving (adjusting) it while you or someone else turns the key. At least that wouldn't be hard to check. John
