harmonic balancer

harmonic balancer

Does it make sense to replace the harmonic balancer because ITS 46 YRS OLD and would a fluid filled be better than rubber? thanks KW

If your engine is relatively stock I'd just go with a stock replacement.

You can also have your original balancer rebuilt. From what I have read on the forum, there are a couple of rebuilders who have good reviews.

edit: I just say you are in Holland, so shipping costs to a rebuilder may not be practical. A new factory balancer would likely be fine.

Factory balancer lasted almost 1/2 century will you need additional time on the new one? If so you are younger than me..... Tedd
